Benjamin der Deutschlehrer

1 Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded between Benjamin the German Teacher and his customers. Deviating terms and conditions of the customer are not recognized unless Benjamin der Deutschlehrer expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

3 Services
Benjamin der Deutschlehrer offers German courses in various formats, including live courses and video courses. The scope and content of the courses is described in the respective course offer.

3. Leistungen
Benjamin der Deutschlehrer bietet Deutschkurse in verschiedenen Formaten an, einschließlich Live-Kurse und Video-Kurse. Der Umfang und Inhalt der Kurse wird im jeweiligen Kursangebot beschrieben.

4. Prices and terms of payment
The prices for the courses offered are specified in the respective course offer. Payment shall be made by credit/debit card or another payment method described in the offer. Payment is due immediately after conclusion of the contract, unless otherwise agreed. Payment in installments is not possible. Live courses Minimum age :
The minimum age for participation in the language courses is 16 years. Course materials:
Books are required for the intensive courses, which are not included in the course price and must also be purchased via the link received in the confirmation email.
Entitlement to teacher & textbook:
There is no entitlement to be taught by a specific teacher or with a specific book. Any change of teacher or book does not entitle the participant to cancel or withdraw from the contract.
Minimum number of participants:
The minimum number of participants for a course is 6. If the required number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to implement one of the following options:

A change will be communicated by e-mail at least 3 working days before the start of the course. If the participant does not agree to the change, the course fee will be refunded.

5. rebooking of courses by the participant
A change of course (time or month) can be made up to 7 days before the start of the course at the latest. No change is possible after the start of the course.

6. Withdrawal and cancellation
The customer can withdraw from the contract free of charge up to 14 days before the start of the course and receive a 100% refund. After the start of the course, a 100% refund can only be made in the first week of the course if a replacement for the participant can be found, otherwise only a 50% refund is possible. After that, no refund is possible.
Attendance:
In the event of irregular attendance or non-participation in a paid course, the course fee will not be refunded.
Certificate of attendance:
A free certificate of attendance is issued at the end of a course.
Different or canceled dates:
The teacher can agree different dates with the course participants. If an appointment is canceled due to illness of the teacher, it will be made up on another day.
Public holidays:
On public holidays, the teacher will decide whether or not lessons will take place.

7. data protection
Benjamin der Deutschlehrer processes personal data of the customer for the fulfillment of the contract and within the framework of the legal provisions. Further information on data protection can be found in the privacy policy.

8 Final provisions
Amendments and additions to these GTC must be made in writing. Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
